Tecnológico de Monterrey receives the Delegation of Zhejiang, China, as part of the strategic alliances of the Innovation HUB Tec-China

The Tecnológico of Monterrey received this morning a Delegation from Zhejiang City, province of China, as part of the strategic alliances to boost scientific entrepreneurship in the Asian country, through the INNOVATION HUB TEC-CHINA platform.

El Tecnológico de Monterrey, recibió la mañana de hoy a una Delegación de la Ciudad de Zhejiang, provincia de China, como parte de las alianzas estratégicas para impulsar el emprendimiento científico en el país asiático, a través de la plataforma INNOVATION HUB TEC-CHINA.

The Delegation headed by Ms. Liang Liming, Vice President of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Popular Assembly, was received by Salvador Alba, Pesident of the Tecnológico of Monterrey, with the aim of strengthening the link between the entities for the exchange of human talent and technology.

La Delegación encabezada por la Sra. Liang Liming, Vicepresidenta del Comité Permanente de la Asamblea Popular Provincial de Zhejiang, fue recibida por Salvador Alva, Presidente del Tecnológico de Monterrey, con el objetivo de fortalecer la vinculación entre ambas entidades para el intercambio de talento humano y tecnología.

At the meeting that was held at 10:30 a.m. were present:
On the behalf of the Asian Delegation:

• Ms. Liang Liming, Vice President of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Popular Assemby.
• Mr. Lin Tianning, Deputy Secretary of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Popular Assembly.
• Mr. Chen Jiangfeng, Deputy Director General of the Zhejiang Department of Foreign Affairs.
• Mr. Xu Gaochun, Deputy Director General of the Zhejiang Department of Commerce.
• Ms. Shen Zheng, Director of the General Office of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Popular Assembly.
• Ms. Shen Si, Coordinator of Relations with America and Oceania of the Zhejiang Department of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting started with the welcome of Salvador Alva, President of the Tecnológico of Monterrey, who also presented the Institution to the invited Committee. Subsequently, in the words of David Garza, the Tec 21 Educational Model was released, which was implemented in the Institution last August. Participants continued with the message of Ms. Liang Liming, who express the benefits that the city of Zhenjiang offers, highlighting the opportunities offered there for the development of innovation and technology.

La reunión inició con la bienvenida de Salvador Alva, Presidente del Tecnológico de Monterrey, quien además presentó a la Institución ante el Comité invitado. Posteriormente, en palabras de David Garza, se dio a conocer el Modelo Educativo Tec 21, el cual se implementó en la institución el pasado mes de agosto. Continuaron las participaciones con el mensaje de la Sra. Liang Liming, quien expresó las bondades que ofrece la ciudad de Zhejiang, al destacar las oportunidades que ahí se ofrecen para el desarrollo de innovación y tecnología.

Succeeding, the Director of Global Innovation HUBS, Patricia Mora, presented the advances and achievements obtained throughout the implementation of the INNOVATION HUB TEC-CHINA initiative, where the execution of the projects was also shown (virtually) Remote Laboratories, technology that is actually implemented in the HDU, as part of the Tecnológico de Monterrey projects that are already operating in China.

A continuación, la Directora de Global Innovation HUBS, Paty Mora, presentó los avances y logros que se han obtenido a lo largo de la implementación de la iniciativa INNOVATION HUB TEC-CHINA, donde además se mostró (de manera virtual) la ejecución de los Laboratorios Remotos, tecnología que actualmente se implementa en la HDU, como parte de los proyectos del Tecnológico de Monterrey que ya se encuentran operando en China.

To concluded with the event, the authorities of both entities exchange representative details of their cultures (Mexican and Chinese), giving way to the official photography shooting of the event and a tour to the installations of the Innovaction Gym, located in the CETEC building of the Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Para cerrar el encuentro, las autoridades de ambas entidades intercambiaron detalles representativos de sus culturas (mexicana y china), dando paso a la toma de fotografía oficial del evento y un recorrido a las instalaciones del Innovaction Gym, ubicado en el edificio CETEC del Campus Monterrey.
