KAIST Global Commercialization Center visit the Tecnológico de Monterrey

Today, a meeting was held between the KAIST Global Commercialization Center and the Tecnológico de Monterrey, as part of the initiatives promoted through the GLOBAL INNOVATION HUBS

La mañana de hoy se celebró una reunión entre KAIST Global Commercialization Center y el Tecnológico de Monterrey, como parte de las iniciativas que se. Impulsan a través de los GLOBAL INNOVATION HUBS

The assistants of the Korean Institution, were:
Professor Munkee Choi, Director of KAIST GCC; Professor Youngduk Park, Advisor Professor of KAIST GCC; Mr. Seunghwan Song, Researcher at KAIST GCC; Dr. Sujin Youn, Researcher, Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI); and Ileana Palaco from the Global IT Technology Program of KAIST GCC.

Los asistentes por parte de la Institución Coreana, fueron:

Participaron por el Tecnológico de Monterrey: Hugo Garza, Vicepresidente de Proyectos Estratégicos de Emprendimiento del Instituto de Emprendimiento Eugenio Garza Lagüera; Mónica Martínez, de la Dirección de Alianzas Globales; Patricia Mora, Directora de Global Innovation HUBS, y los Directores y Especialistas de la OTT – Oficina de Transferencia de Tecnología del Tecnológico de Monterrey.

The objective of the meeting was: to know the support that KAIST (via GCC) can provide to the new Startups of Tec de Monterrey, through its partners and global network.

El encuentro tuvo como objetivo: conocer los apoyos que KAIST (vía GCC), puede proporcionar a las nuevas Startups del Tec de Monterrey, a través de sus socios y red global.

The agenda for the day began with the welcome of Hugo Garza to the guests, followed by the interventions of Mónica Martínez and Patricia Mora who made executive presentations of their areas, and which preceded the participation of KAIST.

La agenda del día inició con la bienvenida de Hugo Garza a los invitados, seguida de las intervenciones de Mónica Martínez y Patricia Mora quienes realizaron presentaciones ejecutivas de sus áreas, y que antecedieron la participación de KAIST.

Finally, four Startups presented their projects to the Koreans:
– GNA – Additive for lubricants, presented by Adriana Hernández.
– Glassy Carbon – Gold Nanoparticles, presented by Gaurav Chauhan.
– DENDRIPLEX – Hybrid Transducers, presented by Jesús Valencia, and
– ARCORA – Smart service manufacturing solutions for metal forming, presented by Osvaldo Reyna.
The meeting concluded with the closing of agreements and next steps.

Finalmente, cuatro Startups presentaron sus proyectos, ante los coreanos:
– GNA – Aditivo para lubricantes, presentada por Adriana Hernández.
– Glassy Carbon – Gold Nanoparticles, presentada por Gaurav Chauhan.
– DENDRIPLEX – Hybrid Transducers, presentada por Jesús Valencia, y

La reunión concluyó con el cierre de acuerdos y siguientes pasos.
